Is a non-profit
organization, part of the Westerville Rowing Club, a 501(c)(3) organization.
All donations are tax deductible. |

Two weeks of Learn To
Row is mandatory for first-time rowers and suggested for experienced
rowers. You must know how to swim to be a rower. |
|
Practices three times
a week at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) on Hoover Reservoir in
Westerville, see www.westervillecrew.com. |
|
Practices on the water
from the end of May to the end of September. |
|
Uses an exercise program
specifically developed for breast cancer survivors in tandem with
the rowing program. This includes using ergometers (ergs) during the
‘off water’ months. |
|
Competes in regattas on
weekends throughout the fall regatta season, generally from the end
of September to the end of October. |
|
Has nominal membership
and uniform fees. Generally these fees are tax deductible. |
|
Accepts applications from
all breast cancer survivors, regardless of age and at any stage of
treatment, along with a doctor’s written approval. |
